DENTAL IMPLANT PROCEDURE
Dental implants are small titanium screws which act as tooth root substitutes. They are surgically placed into the jawbone and once they heal, they provide stable anchors for artificial replacement teeth.
Partial Dentures
A removable partial denture, also referred to as a partial, replaces one or more missing teeth scattered throughout a smile. A partial denture fills in the spaces created by missing teeth and prevents other teeth from changing position.
Crowns
Crowns may be composed of tooth-colored ceramic (metal free), tooth-colored ceramic over precious metal, or all gold. The option selected will depend on the location of the specific teeth.
Bridges
A bridge — a device used to replace missing teeth — attaches artificial teeth to adjacent natural teeth, called abutment teeth. Bridges are either permanently attached (fixed bridges), or they can be removable.
Dentures
The teeth are made of plastic, porcelain or a combination thereof. Dentures can be fabricated to fit over endodonticly treated teeth and a complete denture can be attached to dental implants to allow for a more secure fit of the appliance.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
Some patients seek a more attractive smile whereas others yearn for reliable teeth that allow them to eat comfortably. The benefits of a full mouth reconstruction is an amazingly beautiful smile and stable dentition using durable materials that will stand the test of time.
Smile Makeovers
Dr. Ramer will then create a personalized treatment plan that will work to build patients a brand new rejuvenating smile. Depending on the patient’s specific needs, a smile makeover can include a number of treatments such as implants, crowns, porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, and more.
